Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is a talented but largely self-taught culinary novice. When he and his family are displaced from their native India and settle in a quaint French village, they open an Indian restaurant. This causes strong objections from Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren), who runs an acclaimed restaurant just 100 feet away. War erupts between the two establishments, until Mallory recognises Kadam's impressive epicurean gifts and takes him under her wing. Join your friends in the bijou surroundings of the Church Hall to watch the latest 'must-see' film. Membership is just £5 per year and provides reduced admission for each show (Members £3.50; Non-members £4.50)
